Villahermosa

We made it to Villahermosa! Kudos to Continental for the early arriving flights and sandwiches. As we landed in Villahermosa, I had a nervous feeling, but that feeling vanished as soon as the friendly Mexican customs agents greeted us like we were related to them. Mexican hospitality!
The hotel Cencalli is beautiful, with huge murals painted on the wall at the entrance. Mike, our primary guide is very friendly and Javier, our driver seems very knowledgeable about the area. Our primary mode of transporation is a Mercedes Benz Sprinter van.
I just figured out our bags are sitting outside of our door, better go get them!

I will try and update before we leave to go to Palenque tomorrow.
