The beach is so beautiful, then you come across garbage and it makes you so mad.
In two days it will be a whole month that we have been on the island. And on the 10th of December we have been away from home for two months. Sometime we have to pinch ourselves to see if it is all a dream. The weather has turned very pleasant and the bugs are less. Not altogether gone, but less. Most days we have a slight breeze, so it keeps the bugs away. They still come out between 5 and 6:30pm, so normally we just go inside for that time. Tonight we are going to BBQ the second fish that Gerry and Barry caught. It is called a Bonito. Never tasted it before and all the locals eat it, but it is a oily fish so we will see. Last Sunday we went in Barry's boat with Sonja and Gerry and I. It was a fabulous day, the sky was clear and just a slight breeze. The first thing we saw was a whale. He showed us his fin, a few times as he was feeding....then we actually saw him dive. Too far to see the body, we saw the tail, and that was fantastic. Then the schools of fish

were something.....all over the birds were diving at them (they were too small to pick them up) so they seemed to be just pecking at them. It was very entertaining. The people of the RV parks #1 and #2 do a lot of fund raising for the people of the island. It is a wonderful charity and everyone is very generous. Monday we had a poker run and we went to each of the 5 restaurants and ordered food or drink or both and got tickets and then at the end restaurant we trade them in for cards. The best 4 hands get prizes. It was a lot of fun and we raised over 10,000 pesos, which is about $1000.00. They are having a golf tournament tomorrow, which we don't go to but I am sure it will be fun. We are learning so much from the people of the island. The locals here are so friendly and we feel very safe. The island is so beautiful but it is sad that there is always plastic and stuff on the beach. What a shame. There is suppose to be two cruise ships coming into port tomorrow so that is always
