US Tourists.
Here they come to ´experience´Mexico. Well our Mayan Adventure has finally come to an end. We have made some great friends along the way, and our group leader, Martin, did a fantastic job getting us safely through 3 countries in the last 22 days.
Our final stop was the Mexican tourist town of Playa del Carmen. This place looks to be built for the thousands of American tourists who jump of a cruise boat, buy some souvineers, then tell all their friends they have seen Mexico.
Unfortunatley we haven´t been SCUBA diving yet. We were both recovering from a cold in Belize, and after booking our trip here, we had all our gear on, tanks prepped, then the harbour master cancelled all boat launches due to rough weather, bummer!
It is a fun town though. Last night we vwent to a nightclup on the beach, complete with fire baton twirlers.
Now it is on to Cuba for our ´Cuba Libre´tour. 9 days of Cigars, Rum and hopefully some diving, should be fun.

Jealous!
Hi guys, Paul just send me the link to your blog which I've just been drooling over. Your photos are absolutely fantastic, and it's brought back lots of memories. We visited Tikal and Caye Caulker, and I had the pleasure of a hospital stay thanks to Dengue Fever in Playa del Carmen. Good times! Keep enjoying it because it will be over before you know it. Be safe and have fun! Love Liss
