The Carmelite order was established here in 1614. Expansion of the church began in 1685 & was completed in 1756.

The church doesn't look like much from the outside, but your extensive coverage show that they have certainly preserved it well inside. It's good to see that it hasn't been desecrated or downgraded from its original purpose during the Revolution.
