I never noticed before but Carlos pointed out that different families have different patterns and many times they represent the mountains, rocks and the sun.

Hierve el Agua is a set of natural rock formations that looks like waterfalls. It's about an hour's drive outside of Oaxaca.

The water in the pools have such a high salt concentration that it appears turquoise green.

we did a hardcore hike on this fieldtrip. as graham and jim were deep in conversation about latin american politics and breezed by tages and i, we struggled to make it back to the van. we hurt for days after this trip. i still refused to work out in the backyard everyday with graham.

this was the coldest water i have ever jumped into. this was a chilly day to begin with but graham, jim and i jumped in anyways. i honestly couldn't catch my breath once i jumped in, my lungs were constricted and i couldn't talk. it was crazy!
