it was the best new years we had had in a long time!

Zócalo madness
when the clock struck midnight everyone was off count and things began to fly at people you knew and people you didn't know. it was awesome!

the Zócalo was sheer madness on new years eve with crazy fireworks being thrown at you, cascarones and silly string everywhere! we were all covered with flour!

we bought a bunch of cascarones to throw at each other but didn't realize they put flour in them. tages always uses confetti so when we threw the first one and flour went everywhere it was a surprise!

graham with our new found chilean friends ana maria and ernhesto (who had ridden a motorcycle all the way to mexico from chile). we randomly started talking after getting each other with cascarones, shared some champagne and became instant friends.
