we left Zipolite on friday evening, after waiting 2 hours for the bus to turm up and arrived later than expected in Mazunte. This resulted in us searching round in the dark for a hostel, and eventually finding a very questionable place run by a crazy mexican with one eye! but it was cheap so oh well (and the room came with our own pets, a crab, a gecko, ants and thousnds of mosquitos)
we went and had a nice meal net to the beach before leaving Samantha and Melissa to get an early night, which ended up with us going to a random salsa party in a barn!
after surving the night in the room which was similar to a garage we went on a turtle tour, we went out on a boat of the coast and went swimming with turtles
the next day after waiting for the bus again we ended up getting a taxi to Puerto Escondido, the famous surfing/traveller place. we had a good night out with a lot of nationalities and some authentic mexicans in a bar that overlooked the sea and then spent this morning at the beach.
