For me this trip is a bit like a taster of Mexico. A glimpse of what there is to see. One day I will be back and I will do it properly and give it the time it deserves. For now, the three weeks we have will have to do. ... Read Full Entry

You are right, 3 weeks is not enough! But I think you got a wonderful taste. I am very in love with Mexico but I enjoy spending my time in the smaller barrios when I'm not visiting my parents in their home on the Baja near a very touristy Cabo. Oaxaca used to be one of my favourites 30 years ago, but I now enjoy Monterrey and Guadalajara more.

I understand you
Given more time I too would go to the less visited sights. The good thing is, I have plenty of reasons to return. And return I shall! Thanks for commenting :)

Mexico
Mexico is one of the most intriguing and enigmatic countries I've ever visited... and I really want to get to know it better. Your photos transported me right back :)

So do I
Get to know it better that is. For now, I will just have to make do with the time I have. Thanks for the comment, and may your wish to get to know Mexico better come true sooner rather than later!

Could not stop laughing at the "look at me walking bare feet through the street" and "vegan, vegetarian, funky, organic, and artsy restaurants or bars selling craft beers or broccoli juice" commentary. Brought me right back to parts of Thailand perhaps, and strangely San Pedro de Atacama! Thanks for that, made my day!

And those types too, except maybe in the Antarctic and Arctic...
