camp in eagle river, wi.
first went here back in 1963. couldn't have started my trip out any better than to see camp in eagle river, wisconsin then go onward for a week of unbelievable fishing with my brother & son..... although it was a tough good-bye at the airport in winnipeg, manitoba. saw a black bear, some beaver, a mink, handfull of deer, a large timber wolf and dozens of eagles. the highlight being when we fed the eagles. when you see one perched atop a tree you throw a fish about 15' from the boat and they'll come swooping down and grab it with their talons. they are truly one awesome bird. spent a couple days in devils lake, nd rounding up supplies then at sullys hill animal refuge and fort totten. should be picking up echo in minot, nd at the end of the week then make my way down to the missouri river and pick up the lewis and clark trail. we'll be in touch.
