Hello freinds. it is abeautiful day out and the new steward is here. we are in town at the library. had a nice drive in. i am training him now to take over. he is from Idaho and his name is Johna. NIce guy. he is considering monk-dom. i have considered and must get back to "real life" now. i suppose. i have pets and things to take care of right? i would love to spend some time in the woods hiking. i have some ideas of jobs for now. like returning to The Village for a time. There are other opportunitites as well. but i have things to take care of in Knoxville less i give up the cat and dog to the ex. hard to do. so... we continue on. i am grateful for everyone who has helped me. all my teachers, friends, and family. thanks for your support on this journey of mine/yours. never-ending it is right? less, i realize the unconditioned. though i here it is right here, right now😊 wish me luck on the road and traveling on. thanks again to Arrow River. Nice community here. I have enjoyed Thunder Bay, got to know the area and the people a little. The First Nation tribe, Lakehead University, Esco, Ajahn, thank you.
Grey Wolf lodge and the Indian wheel teachings. I learned about them from people at the book club. I have one more meal to serve tomorrow. Then Friday I am off. It is bitter-sweet. It is stange in this transitory state but it keeps me on my toes. I feel like I have gone through treatment myself and now could relate more others who have.
Well, here is another:
what's the last thing you do before bed? say a prayer, lye instead?
just before eyes close
the last word, thought of home
what do you do just before sleep
before the night takes you
deep, deep
what, pray tell, do you think
of night without wings
wink, wink
what do you say at midnight hour
the holiest of time
gone sour
a whistle of light
a flash of sound
what do you think when its time to sink
forgotten worlds, hidden songs
lay down your head, sleep now
let the little bird sing you to sleep
let it sing
let the little bird sing sing sing
what do you do before, before
long lost love
egore, egore
bring dreams alive back from sleep
bring 'em back
bring 'em back
let them speak
what do you do when all is lost
carry a sword
forget and toss
what do you say when words are lost
nothing more
nothing less
words unspoken, words now gone
go to bed little birdie
go to bed!
what, dear one, are you thinking (or not) as you close your eyes...
one more:
No Separation
there's no seperation, there's no seperation
material, spiritual, samsara, nibbana
there's no seperation
theres no seperation
where are we going, going here
spirit is flowing, flowing quite near
theres no seperation, no seperation
spirit is walking in flesh and blood
heaven quite near, near as your heart
no seperation, theres no seperation
speak to me now now and forever
forever and ever seeing together
theres no seperation, no seperation
bring these words to your mond
heaven is here
spirit divine human heart let shine
theres no seperation, theres no seperation
