Christmas Eve dinner at the Savile's
Happy New Year everyone! Well Hank and I just finished our Christmas vacation. We started with a yummy Christmas Eve dinner at the Savile's in St. Mary's with all of our children, spouses and grandchildren. Hank and I were very fortunate to be able to spend the night there and wake up bright and early to watch Alanna and Jacob open up their presents from Santa! We spent the rest of Christmas day with John, Julie and the kids. Another great dinner! Boxing Day was hosted this year by the Corns. Lots of friends, family, food and bevies as usual! The next day Hank and I headed up to Chatsworth where we rented the Chatty Farmhouse for 10 days. It was very nice and well equipped. It even came with our own toboggan hill. I have the bruises to prove it! I went for daily walks through the fields of snow and the forest. Very beautiful and peaceful except when I disturbed the flock of wild turkeys! Hil and Pete and Ricky came up for a day. Toboganning, hiking, tequilla, campfire, food, movies....good times! New Years Eve we attended the traditional Tree House party in Orangeville. What can I say~! New

Years day we returned to the Chatty Farm for a few more days of relaxing. Movies, food, wine, scrabble and gin! We returned to Stratford for our last 2 days to do a little more visiting with family and friends. Saturday, we hopped our plane to Thunder Bay to begin part 2 of this amazing adventure.
