This is my home in Stayner. We live here in the wonderful charm of a little town just about an hour and a half north of the city of Toronto. Close enough to commute, yet far enough to escape.

This is our home in Stayner! I am posting a picture of it in the snow, because Stayner is situated in the snowbelt! This is how we most often see it! ;-)

Here is the main street in Stayner. It is actually pretty cute and has alot of antique shops as well as a chocolaterie and a European store. Many imigrants from Holland and England have settled in these surroundings, so there is a lot of that European flavour around!

It is charming to see these antique shops everywhere. There are several on main street alone and many in the surrounding areas of Collingwood and Creemore

In the summer bands play here and it is always decorated for the holidays, it is quite charming.

Just another one of our many antique shops. Although antiques are popular here, Canada is a much younger country and so are our antiques.
