Today we traveled 175 miles from Vancouver to Spences Bridge, British Columbia. It was a drive filled with hairpin turns and narrow mountainous roads. Of course the scenery was beautiful. There were waterfalls everywhere since the spring snow runoffs are in full swing. Our only stop today was at Hell's Gate. It's the narrowest point on the Fraser River and we the most challenging point in the construction of the TransCanada Railway. They have a tram down to the river, so of course we had to check it out. The pictures are both of the scenery and the history of the this area. Enjoy!
