Well, we took a road off our path (I really wanted to see Slave Lake - a huge lake with sand beaches) - and guess who was driving and got us in spot that we couldn't turn around?? Yep, it would be me - and Alvin wasn't real happy about disconnecting the car so he could back the motorhome out of a really tight space! Then, we almost ran out of gas before we got to Dawson Creek - but just when he thought he might have to unhook the car again and go for gas - up came up lone station - with absolutely nothing around it - but they had gas!! We get into Dawson Creek right after a huge rain storm - get into the campground and get hooked up and barely got inside before the storm came back through - the lightning was so close I was sure we had been hit!! It rained like crazy for about an hour - still very dark and stormy looking outside! And to close out our day - Alvin tried everything to make our satelllite dish to work - to no avail. Ended up having to buy a cable and hook into the campground's system. They informed him that the satellite dishes won't work in Canada and Alaska!! Okay, enough drama for one day!! Take care - Love, Linda & Alvin
