We took today to get haircuts and explore Vancouver. Benjamin and Joshua didn't seem the least bit upset that the first few hair salons we checked were fully booked for the day. Finally we found an old school barber shop. They ended up going from shaggy to normal but were both convinced that they had been scalped.

After haircuts we drove across the Lion's Gate Bridge and on across False Creek to Granville Island. We ate lunch at the market and then explored the docks and some really nice sailboats.

For our last stop we headed to Stanley Park. Following the path along the Ocean, you really didn't see the effects of the wind storm from two years ago. On the way back though, Benjamin led us on a path through the forest where you can clearly see the places where century old trees where taken out by the wind.

David and Shara kindly treated our family and theirs to dinner at the Keg. After dinner we took a walk along the ocean shore and watch the sea otters play in the waves.
