Friday - Heading for Vancouver to see the Nobles

After a cold night (we all had summer sleeping bags) we set out for Tofino and the day park beach access point. In Tofino we got our fix of coffee and then headed down to the docks. Joshua and Benjamin raced along the pier checking each pile for star fish, crabs, and sea urchins. We spent a good 15 minutes watching the parade of quarter sized jelly fish float past near the end of the pier Afterwards we checked out long beach before setting off to Niniamo.

Benjamin got to hit a bookstore in the outskirts of Naniamo and we did some quick cloth shopping before we did some quick shopping, checked our email at Starbucks wifi, and then made a mad dash for the 5:20 Ferry to Vancouver. We had dinner aboard the ferry. Next stop the Nobles.

After 14 years, we were a bit unsure which house was David and Shara's but their son Mike kindly waved us in. We sat around the kitchen table and caught up over tea and Iranian pastries while Benjamin and Joshua played computer games down stairs.
