packing up for Vancouver Holiday

Getting packed up for our summer vacation to Vancouver, B.C. Canada. It's our first time to this city, so it's very exciting for us. It's a 3.2 hr., direct plane ride from Phoenix to YVR (the big airport), so that's not too bad. It was 109 here today in Tucson, so Vancouver should be a nice change of pace with regard to weather! Their high was 70 today!!!

It's coincidentally going to be Canada Day while we are visiting, the 150th celebration of the countries existence. So it should be a really interesting visit.

We haven't done a ton of planning. We'll be there one week, and we just want to relax and enjoy a new place, a vibrant city.

Tonite we r packing. I have checked in with Air Canada, via cell phone. Paperless tickets. I love technology. As long as my phone is charged.

We plan to ride the sky train from the airport to the hotel. no car. it saves $22/night alone in parking. :-)

it's going to be a walking/public transportation kind of holiday.
