We have been so busy travelling back and forth to Whistler the past 2 days, that we haven't had a chance to update until now. Yesterday is the first day since we have been here that we saw real snow!!! Vancouver's weather is so mild that the Cherry Blossoms are blooming. Whistler is 2 hours North of the City and is much colder being so high in the snow covered mountains . On Tuesday, we were there to see the Luge. Wow! They are so fast that even when you are standing right next to the track you can hardly see them whiz past at speeds over 100 Km. Today we saw the Women's Downhill! It was awesome. As you probably know by now Lindsey Vonn and Juia Mancuso won gold and silver medals. It was the most beautiful, sunny day and the perfect backdrop to a terrific race. We met Lindsey's Family and friends and got lots of pictures that we will share with you tomorrow. In the morning, we are going to a reception hosted by the U.S. Olympic Committee for sponsor and athletes. We can't wait to see who we will meet there. We will keep you posted. Love all your comments! Don't forget to sign your name. Gee, that sounds like a teacher doesn't it!!!!!

It looked from the TV like a perfect ski day. Now you know why i am addicted to the mountains. How great that you guys got to be part of possibly the most amazing downhill race I've ever seen. I don't know if you had an opportunity to see the television coverage but Lindsey basically skied the race on one leg. She was favoring her right leg so much that at times the ski wasn't even on the snow. Not possible at 70+ mph! How great that you were there. So glad for you guys! Steve
