Today we are flying from Kelowna to Calgary where we will catching an international flight to London Heathrow. Jim surprised me by booking business class tickets for this leg our our flight. Tomorrow is my birthday so this will be a nice way to enjoy it! We used the business class lounge before boarding our flight with British Airways. This plane had pod-type, lay-flat seating in business class. What a treat, as we actually did manage to sleep through part for a trip. It's an interesting business model the airlines follow. If you are a business class paying passenger, they refer to you by your name, and they cannot do enough for you! If you are an economy class paying passenger, they treat you like some sh_t they are forced to transport.
