Greatest day of the whole trip.

Perfect weather and the ride was great roads. I cannot even describe the beauty of BC. Pictures say it all.

We left Kamloops after breakfast and Denny's and headed for the border via rt 1 east out of Kamloops to rt 23 south at Revelstoke.

Had my doubts when we got on 23 going south and it was chip and seal. Can be challenging to a Motor Cycle if its new.

Turned out great as we paralleled a lake and the road was not bad.

Halfway down rt 23 we caught a ferry at Shelter Bay to the other side of the lake. Great experience and the lake was beautiful.

On the other side we continued on 23 to rt6 to Valhalla Provincial Park, and then rt 3A to Kootenay Bay and 3A down to 3 to 21 and crossed the border at Porthill Idaho.

If you have ever seen the wheatfields and green hayfields of Northern Idaho you should. Very beautiful.

Continued on the Troy Montanna for the night. Lots of pics in this post as I could not stop taking them.

Tomorrow on to Glacier Park.
