We're back! We had the best time....now it's time to clean-up. First, the rest of the trip.
Amsterdam was excellent. Our last day took it easy. We had another big breakfast and then went for a walk around the flower market, bought magnets then back to the hotel. Rick spent the afternoon at the pool with the kids and I headed off for some shopping. Big fun. Off for dinner. Dutch food in a cool old building on the first canal in Amsterdam. Then....we had a babysitter for the kids for 4 hours!! Yeah! It was great going out and looking around Amsterdam on our own.
The next morning we cleaned up and headed to theairport. The flight was super easy. The kids watched movies and hung out. Norah had a short nap but Evan made it all the way. Gramps picked us up and home we went. Evan fell asleep on the way home and didn't wake again until 4 am. Norah was crazy happy to see all of her toys. It was great to be home.
