There's 6 of us travelling to India. It's Terry, Janice, Deborah, Lisa and myself, Anna, with one solo male traveller, named Doug, the brave soul that he is. Thus the name of our site. 5 Women and a Dug. Our travels commence Jan 12th in New Delhi and continue through many diverse regions throughout the country. Lisa and Anna travel for 3 weeks where the remaining 4 continue on until early to mid March.

Junagarm Fort - BikanerThis is an amazing fort as the locals take great pride in the maintanance and restoration. The work is done locally and it truly is a treasure!
Artwork being painted on Doug's FingerThis puts a new meaning to "finger painting". The artist uses the hair from a chipmunk and on a single nail he painted an elephant, desert, all of our names...better picture to follow from Deb's camera.
The little blue pillApparently in India all you need is this little blue sheet.... hmmmmm.....
Deb, Terry and Janice - JaisalmerPicture taken in a Havula, which is an elaborate home, similar to a palace, but due to protocol, it can not be called a palace.
The Little Blue Pill Please arrange to have shipped back to Humboldt, 1 blue blanket! Cost should be covered by Sask Medicare. Glad to keep receiving these enthralling tales. Nothing much happening here in Bucerias except we are meeting a lot of old friends and the waiters from restaurants we have frequented in the past have welcomed us back with open arms. I will tell you more later about the night we got locked out of our casita. Safe travels Amigo and Amigas
Green with Envy!!! Hello from cold Canada. I'm not sure whether I'm more envious of Doug or the 5 women!! It's easy to tell you're all having a terrific time and I am thoroughly enjoying being a tiny part of your trip through osmosis or I guess google. What a fabulous trip to be on. Deb, you and your friends look terrific and it's easy to tell from the pictures what a fun time you're having. Love and hugs, Dianna
