Hi everyone,
Just setting up a blog for our adventure. We will be posting here as much as possible. Thanks for all the warm wishes, advice and encouragement. Julie and I are really fortunate to have so have so many great friends and family that support us. If we don't get a chance to talk to you again before we take off..... see you on the flip side.

What a great time to leave! -28 and snowing. Barcelona is one of my favourite places. Tour all the Antoni Gaudi creations. The Familia Sagrada makes me cry just thinking about its audacity and magnificence. I will live vicariously through you two until we can get over on our (what seems like) very short summer tour.
