Italian Food in Israel, why, because you don´t want to walk about after a 12 hour work day. Good Israeli wine ( Gamla Cabernet 2006 from the Golan Heights) Nice fruity, still young, goes very well with the Caprese and the Penne!

I am amazed about this small country, here we are 15 km from the West Bank ( yes, Israel is only 15km wide on it´s most narrow point) and it is like it is a nother world from the one described in the news media. It could be Greece, Spain, Italy, south France ( except for the road signs)

When travelling back from Nazareth today, we had the West Bank on our left side for miles, village after village, no more accessable for the Israelis, but there they are, villages looking just like the ones off the Autorote in France, where we stop for lunch during our holidays.
The Arab population is also not able to pass this border, why cannot common sense rule and there be peace for all, I wonder?
