We left Sydney on Sat 09:45 pm and had a 14 hour flight to Dubai. Good flight but trying to sleep with a couple of hundred TV screens is a bit of a psychedelic experience. Then discovered an eye mask and got about 2 hours sleep - better than nothing. Not much to report about Dubai airport itself. Modern and surprisingly not enough toilets - always a queue. 20 men queuing for a pee from various nationalities, but all with a common understanding and goal - and all very polite.
