hi everyone, Well my uncle and aunt came to visit for 15 days and we did go all over. We first went to the mosque which they thought reminded them of the Taj Mahal. Considering the amount of seafood in this place it actually did not smell so bad...too bad the seafood Uncle Marcel bought was bad. We just didn't get lucky that night!

Emirate's Palace is quite impressive and we were in awe of it's opulence.

Christmas Eve at the Burj Al Arab

This hotel is reportedly the only 7 star hotel. We had to make a reservation to eat there. Staying there would have been expensive as the cheapest room is around 7000 dirhams or 2000 dollars.

Bentley (I think)

There were very expensive cars parked out the front of the hotel...here Uncle Marcel wishes he owned this one. I bet the valet guy's had never driven anything like my rented Mitsubishi lancer. I felt like I was pulling up in a cart pulled by a donkey.
