More nice scenery as we headed back towards the sea - Turkey is beautiful! Olympos was really unusual scenery-wise - we were staying in a valley surrounded by steep tree-covered mountains (Jurrasic park-esque), with a mix of wild flowers, cactuses, and forest. A ten minute walk down the river (through the ruins of Olympos) opened up to a beach where I spent most of the day sun-bathing 😊 Accommodation for everywhere round here was tree houses (or more accurately - huts on stilts next to trees). We stayed at Saban Tree Houses and had the best food weve had so far - amazing home-cooked food included each night. Went to the Chimera Flame last night - a mountain with lots of natural gas eternal flames dotted about on it which involved another many-stepped climb (with steps apparently built for giants as they were huge!). Unfortunately marshmallows are not well known here so we made do without toasted marshmallows at the top 😞
