Hello All -- Wendy typing with Adrienne peeking over my shoulder.

We clapped for joy when our plane took off, as it meant we were off on the pleasure part of our journey. I doubt any experience in the next three weeks will top those that we had with the orphans, but we do plan to be cleaner, for one thing.

Our hotel has a REAL shower, and a REAL toilet, with REAL towels that dry one's skin when it's damp. And, best of all, there is a REAL bed, instead of a bench with a padded plank on it. From our room we can see a mosque, and the Marmara Sea. And yes, the room really does look like it did on the website (remember, Becky L?).

It's our first day, and we've been to the Turkish Bath -- at a place where they've been doing these baths for 300 years. As I mentioned before, we are ALREADY cleaner. I actually got to see some of the grime coming off my skin. It was considerable.

So, we are here, safe, and ecstatic.

We are also planning to upload photos, as we think we can do that now.

Cheers! Wendy and Adrienne
