Upon first observations, I can confidently say Istanbul is quite the multicultural milkshake. That, and I am completely charmed by its cobbled streets leading towards the sea. What a condensed, sprawling, hodge-podge of people and life! Demographics say its 78 percent Turks, but there are so many other faces. I think the charm of old Istanbul are the endless streets. I put so many steps in exploring the neighbourhoods near my hotel.

I enjoyed the trams and making my way down the busy sidewalks, window shopping and people watching. Very bustling exciting city.

The amount of ruins that you can explore are endless in Istanbul, the underwater cisterns and fort walls, extensive. Everywhere I looked, Istanbul was built over and on top of ruins of Constantinople.

I am starting to get addicted to the Turkish Baths. Especially the ones in Turkey.

The visual arts museum was definitely worth it. Especially when there were no lineups!
