We arrived utterly exhausted from our tour of Egypt utterly desperate for a Laundromat to wash our clothes at. It's time to buy some Turkish carpets! Kaylah proudly displaying a lovely silk carpet. The carpet guys rolled rug after rug after rug on top of each other in an elaborate display on what to look for in a carpet and what to look out for and the different patterns that originate in different areas of Turkey.

You can see the evidence of both Christian and Islam occupation. The Christian mosaic above the window and the two Islamic discs on either side. After no one could decide who the church rightfully belonged to, Ataturk came in and gave it to the tourists and made it a museum.
