Another early morning….another buffet breakfast!! Today we had a long drive across Turkey. We traveled for 12 hours. We had an interesting stop at Konya which is a city that has a lot of Middle Eastern investment. It is a very conservative place and it has the museum of the Whirling Dervishes This is an Islamic sect with a very interesting history.
We arrived in Pamukkale quite late. The hotel we stayed in had hot springs so the kids had to have a swim in the warm water. They weren’t too impressed to find that it was muddy and gooy on the bottom. They are a bit soft! We went to a leather factory. They had a fashion parade. Harriet was one of the "Stars" of course. It had the desired effect as every couple/group purchased.
