Jordan...so much in only 4 days!

As I write this I can't believe that we only spent four days in Jordan...we got so much done, saw so much, and had such a great time. We are FOR SURE headed back to this travel destination gem. We threw some extra days into Jordan when we shortened our time in Egypt. The dip between the two peaks in the center/right side of the picture is where we had just hiked to see the Monastery. The complex was really big, but worth all the walking.

One of our unexpected stops in Jordan we got to visit a Crusader's castle! Built in a beautiful as well as strategic position this fort had views that went for miles.

The white rim of the beautiful green water is salt!

According to Deuteronomy 34 this is where Moses saw the Promised Land and is buried. We figured that Moses must have had a clearer day than we did...

The streets were very clean and friendly. They had a 7 Eleven too - I don't know that the real 7 Eleven knows anything about it, but we were happy to see it all the same.

It was like someone bought Toyota and Nissan white pick-ups with red stripes and handed them out across Jordan. Seriously they were everywhere. After awhile it became comical because everywhere we looked there was yet another white truck with a red stripe :-)
