Aqaba - Amman - Jerash - Petra - Wadi Rum - Dead Sea - Amman We're heading north on Jordan's Desert Highway. Dusty tracks disappear off into the endless desert on either side. I'm heading to the region soon. I can't think of reasons why you aren't allowed to visit Israel.

We can't go to Israel, because if we did we then wouldn't be allowed into other countries on our trip....

Great blog
An informative and interesting blog, mainly because I have been to the dead sea but from the side of Israel...I honestly did not know there was so much history there in Jordan, and that is another place that I want to visit. It's unfortunate that you can't go to Israel cause you wouldn't be allowed in the neighbouring countries though, and I'm looking forward to the next entry.
