these shoes are such a hit in Israel right now, and I got to try some out cos Erez reckoned my flip flops weren't going to hold up. looks aside - they're pretty good

I think thats what it's called, but it means that winter's coming here in Israel. and some people say that Moses used it to decide the borders of the promised land a few thousand years ago.

then Erez smashed the front end supension out of his jeep showing off to me how he could jump these huge pot-holes in the road... it was pretty funny although not at the same time. we both smashed our heads on the windscreen(no seatbelts in Jeeps), then had to get his buddies to come help us nurse it to the main road where a tow truck could come and take it away.

five hours and a bit of dramma later we were tucking into a big feed back at Erez's friend Shaked's place and life was good again. we hadn't eaten all day, so the food tasted reeeeal good.

it was a shame there was big mist over the Sea of Galilee becuase we couldn't really see much.

it's more of a lake really, but that wouldn't sound as good. I couldn't believe how warm the water was

there's a national holiday called Yom Kippur, where all the Jewish people fast for a whole day and right all the wrongs they've done over the past year. this was the meal we all had at Tomos place, before sundown and the start of the fast.

hey man good to see the pictures and to see that you realy liked our country which you saw just a small part of it we realy hope to see you again and take you on tours with us because there are not many backpackers in israel like you most people come here for other things and they dont realy get the trues about this country which is amazing . keep havung a good time and take care the jeep is ruined and i dont even know if im going to fix it now because i dont have a lot of money so dont forget to put yout sit belt next time ( if you have one in the car...) adios amigo

hey, nice to see someone unafraid to travel to israel! most people don't realize how great a country it is because of how it is reported on the news all the time. I'm american, but have been in Israel for over 3 months now. How long are you in Israel for? Well, enjoy your travels!
