Yesterday, my family and I went to Ein Gedi. It is an oasis by the Dead Sea where you can hike. It was really fun in some parts and in others…not so much. I loved seeing the wild life like the Ibexes and desert hyraxes that ran around wild. I loved going through the water falls that looked like they were made by Disney or were the set for an Indiana Jones movie. It was amazing to go through the mossy “Lovers cave” (as it was called) and to visit the temple that had been made to worship the moon 3,000 years ago. I do say, though, I think I could have passed on holding on to a cliff for dear life.

Terrific!!!!!
Em Honey, Your pictures and commentary are really amazing. Who knew that an Ibex was real and not just an answer in a crossword puzzle. Really, really enjoying your Blog. LOVED that picture of your Mom worshipping the moon. Lots and lots of love and many many hugs, Bubbe
