ShabbatShabbatShabbat

Wonderful to be with friends
Shabbat Shalom,

We just finished our Shabbat with 18 believers and one from Baha'i faith. Of the believers 4 from Vancouver,WA 2 from Salem Or. 2 from Portland, OR. 2 from Sequim, WA 3 from Port Angeles, Wa 2 from Great Britain 1 from New Zealand and 2 from Yerushalayim. We had a wonderfull study in the Scriptures and fellowship over a meal. I find it interesting that once again we find ourselves reading about the places we went this week. This weeks Torah portion was Genesis23:1-25:18. We have been in Hevron and at the cave where Sarah was buried. Also, Avraham, Yitchak, Ya'acov, Rivkah and Leah.

There is another issue of expulsion right now in Hevron. The Shalom House is bought and paid for by some Jewish families and now an Arab has stated he wants it and they did not buy it. Even though there is documents of the sale. We drove by there and then went to another house that the Israeli Government pulled Jewish families out of and then cemented up the door. Same situation yet no Arabs chose to move in. If the expulsion happens while we are here we will try

to stand with the Jewish families.

On a more interesting note, we as B'nai Ephraim have been recognized by some of Judah. We went down to a farm in the Negev run by a man that is a Cohenim and was expelled from Gush Katiff 3 and 1/2 years ago. He has started over in the middle of the desert with a 3000 ft well that gives salty water at over 100 deg F. He has the most amazing farm growing Olives, Grapes, all kinds of vegetables, and fruit. Goats, geese, sheep, chickens and barking dogs for security from thieves.

This man upon our visit, he knew we were coming, Gave each of us a bottle of olive oil. Now this bottle was filled with what we later found out was the first pressing of his first fruits from his 4th year of trees. Also this last year that ended with Sukkot was a "shmita year", so it was the fist fruits from the trees. All of this following the Torah. Let me sum this up this way. A Cohenim presented to us representing B'nai Ephraim his first fruits crop as the first pressing from the

olives. Thus we were given a special oil.

Also on this trip we were presented with wine from a man of Judah.

Oil and Wine, there must be something our Father wants us to see.

Till next time, Shalom.
Ron

Hello!
Good to hear from you!! Wow!!! Sound like things are interesting for you in Hebron. I am not exactly sure of the symbolism of the oil and wine but am excited to know what it means!! As for your picture of the sign reading "Return Now".... I just know you heard your verbal invitation a while back LOUD and CLEAR (right?). So, I am wondering if this is your confirmation? :) Praying for your ability to stand if needed and for safety in the hands the Father.
