DUI's and travelling South and Central America.
I am a Canadian citizen with a DUI on my record which resulted in a criminal record. I have travelled to Honduras for 2 months and had no problems. The countries we will be in are Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, and Costa Rica. If anyone has info on entry requirements for these countries please let me know. Oh and I also went through customs in the US with no problems while having the criminal record. Thanks and hope someone out there can help.

Unless you are a murderer or a terrorist they really would have to be very fussy to not let you into the country. In my opinion they will not even ask about criminal records. In order to find out about your police record they would need to ask you to get it from the police and give it to them. I have needed to show my police record twice so far. Once to get a job on a US army base in Germany and once to get a students work permit to enter Canada. That involved going to the police and asking them to give me a statement of it. The police would not have given it out to anybody else.
For the entry requirement for Canadian tourists to Brazil check the following thread.
Does Brazil hate tourism?
