What are friends for eh? Was great to get a txt from the lovely Michelle Eyles on Thursday, asking us if we would like free tickets to the 02 Wireless Festival in Hyde Park on Saturday. Would we like free tickets? WOULD WE LIKE FREE TICKETS?!?

Of course we were in like a shot -Michelle even managed to get a few more tickets so Naomi, Sam, Anna (from Wellington) and the Scottish guy all met up in Hyde Park to enjoy the fantastically hot weather and entertainment. We took a picnic and secured a spot on the grass.

The main performer for the night was no other than James Blunt. Oh now that guy truly is ‘beautiful it’s true…’ He sounded so good live. Played all the songs from his album plus a new one. Fantastic!

The crowd was very chilled out and the sun was blazing all evening. What more could we ask for one our 4th weekend in London?! Good friends.. good food… good music…

A couple of mid 20 year olds, started this blog back in 2006. We left our homeland of New Zealand and set off on our trip of a lifetime. These entries follow our travels from our New Zealand to London and back again. Total geeks - no Las Vegas or full moon parties here. We used '1001 Natural wonders' to plan our trips. Sometimes riding 5 hours on the back of a motorbike to see a waterfall or random rock formation. Since arriving back home in New Zealand in 2011, travels haven't been much of a priority.
