What's a Gouden Kalveren anyway?

Very distinct way of storytelling, De ofrivilliga (The Involuntary), is really five separated stories that connects in a shared theme: scenes from everyday situations. It's not a sit back and relax straight forward movie, as the camera doesn't move at all. In some scenes the only thing we get to see is feet, back of peoples heads, or hands.

Simon (The Netherlands 2004, 104 mins)
Dutch movie about.. Well, it's really not about a lot, some guy and a gay hook up in the 80ties, and the meet by chance 14 years later. Euthanasia is a somewhat theme of the movie, as the guy has cancer and wants to end his life on his own terms. Oh, and the Gouden Kalveren? Simon got four of them..
