This is where the legal doctor, Pasquano plays games with his friends and often Montalbano goes to find him here, interrupting his card games to ask for information on an autopsy.
Il Circolo, situated in Piazza Duomo, is a building from the 1850s, built in the neoclassical style with a beautiful living room. It was built by the local aristocracy in so that they could have a fixed place in order to talk and pass time in.
In addition to the head room there are other rooms dedicated to playing games, reading and taking part in conversations.
