Guess who gets the good job at locks?Guess who gets the good job at locks?Guess who gets the good job at locks?

Note from where Captain is taking the photo... quite dry!
Day 15: Left Staines and travelled upstream to moor in Windsor again for the night, this time on other side of river, on our own little island. Let's hope it's not underwater in the morning. Cooked Spag Bol which was yummy. Thought we might take an evening stroll into Windsor but would be easier to swim there at the moment! Hey, it looks brighter over there... really!

PM is really feeling like our Small World now. Surprisingly comfortable, cosy, even in the rain. Admittedly there are a few minor repairs needed when we get back to boatyard - Captain's seat has broken, small leak under front window, ah yes, the small hole in the side... but still afloat. Could live here forever!

Plans for next few days, weather permitting:

Saturday late afternoon/evening: we should be somewhere around the Cookham area

Sunday: Travelling from Cookham towards Henley.

Would love to see anyone. Just give us a call/email/text/blog message if you would like to meet up. Only stipulation is to bring a bottle and waterproofs.

Date to meet
Dear Rosie and Howard, Hope our emails are getting through. Mick and I would be happy to meet up in fact we are thinking weather permitting of going for a bike ride on the Thame bike trail next week. Is that anywhere near where you are going? Do let us know if you would like to meet for a drink, Wednesday onwards. Glad you are keeping going. Love from us both Sarah and Mick

Proud of you Rosie
So you haven't baled out yet. If only you were a little closer we would certainly visit. Tell Captain H to change tack and head North.
