a birthday outing

We had a most enjoyable day out with Ineke yesterday to celebrate her birthday. We drove to a lovely mere/lake about 45 mins away, where there are lots of ducks, geese and a sculpture trail and a few caches. it was a bit grey but not cold, luckily. We walked a bit, met Kate and John in a pub for lunch, then found some caches. It has to be said, Kate and John walked a lot further than us! Another time we'll do that walk too.
