This weekend was a busy one. Mum and Dad celebrated 67 years of marriage on Saturday. They had lots of cards and flowers, and the chef at the Rhallt baked a lovely cake. Then on Sunday we played a rounders match against the next village - Llangyniew v. Dolanog. All good fun, the vicar (who is vicar to both parishes) was ref and first aider, there was a van with barrels of cider - just like the Archers - and the sun shone while Alex took photos. it ended in a draw, and sausage and chips in the pub!

67 years of marriage! Now that IS a feat! Congratulations to your parents for me. it looks like a lovely day! I would be a tad concerned if the vicar was in charge of first aid :S A draw seems a very friendly way to end the game!
