Yesterday Sophie had an job interview in Ludlow, which is a beautiful town abpout an hour's drive from here. So I went along too, and we had a lovely day there. The job was not quite what she had thought in the end, so she's still looking.

stretch of road on the way to Ludlow is this avenue of Turkey Oaks. beautiful at any time of year. And I always drive the 2 miles very slowly!
