and all the money is spent! We came home through Leaton, and took a pic or two. Ring any bells George? I think you said the house on the corner, so I hope that's it, or we'll have to go again!

Those pictures certainly ..
bring back memories!! Lovely of you to get them. Many thanks. The one of the house shows the back door through which I went in to my room (trademan's entrance!!) Looking towards the house (where you stood to take the photo) my memory tells me that the barns were to the left and the cowsheds (not shown - probably demolished?) were to the right. I think the road to the army camp (industrial estate?) was behind the cowsheds - down a slope. That looks a delicious sandwich, Gwen !!! Don't eat it all at once !!!
