We had been talking with our neighbours about getting some chickens again, so for my birthday, Mum and Dad gave me some money towards a new coop - well, our half of one. We went to a nearby joiner, who really make banisters, but do flat pack hen houses to diversify. And home we came with our very own coop.
Alex and I spent a couple of hours putting it together yesterday, today it got a coat of creosote, and when it stops being so windy, we need to level a spot of ground - there's nowhere level here - and then ..... we can get the hens.

Very fancy
henhouse. How many hens can you fit in there?? We used to have a few bantams and a duck but we did not have such a fancy henhouse.
