There were lots of things happening round here over the weekend, but Alex decided to go and see what was going on at the festival of transport, as he had to run someone to the station in Welshpool anyway.
Besides a parade of vintage lorries, there were lots of demonstrations, including one by the Sealed Knot (featuring our neighbour David) who did a re- enactment of the Battle of Montgomery. Alex said David was "dead good" Or did he mean "good dead"? Well, not too dead, as he has just been up here practising pike duty with Alex!

I am glad....
I am not in the "good old days!!" Those pikes look very sharp. The suits are very smart tho' - would probably win a prize a a modern fashion show!
