golden guernsey goats
brought back memories, we used to keep this breed, they are so pretty Today we took back the cat cage we'd borrowed from the cat rescue people. The RSPCA apparently only keep young, friendly and tame cats that are easily rehomable - the rest they put down. Except ..... step up Mark and Stella who take the old and the wild, and look after them until they find a nice kind owner. At the moment they have 27 unwanted elderly cats, mostly asleep in the sunroom, or following them about in the hope of a cuddle. I expect that most will end their days there. And that's where our 2 came from - not old thats for sure, but wild they certainly are. And this morning I found a dead rat outside, the first of many I hope.

those sedgey banks ....
Shakespeare called them I seem to remember! Reminds me of a farm that I worked on, which bordered the Severn - near Shrewsbury - oh now I remember it was at Bomere Heath. Lovely photo's Carrie - but too many cats for me!! Nice tractors though - did they adopt them too ?????
