Alex had a week's holiday left, to take before the end of March, so we decided to spend a couple of days on the Wirral. We stayed on the side facing Wales, where the estuary is varied, mud flats, tidal marsh and some beaches. Mostly we used the Country Park called the Wirral Way, and walked a lot. Caching as we went! Once home, we celebrated Dad's birthday a bit early, as Liz had come up for a few days.
