Another sleep in this morning for Nicole and I while Steve went for a run and got lost along the way... worrying thing is that I didn't even realise he was gone until I woke up from him opening the door after his run! After showers and packing and refueling we left and had breakfast at Subway before driving to Glasgow. On our way we were listening to the news and discovered that Glasgow was having a public holiday so when we arrived at 12pm almost every shop was closed. I am very thankful to all the people I talked to about Glasgow – they told me you would only need 2 hours in Glasgow and you will have seen it all... they are very right! We were there for 2 ½ hours but that is including time for lunch! LOL
On our way we went to find a supermarket and Steve spotted on so we parked and walked in... to an electrical store! Silly boy!
We made a few stops along the way but eventually made it to Kendal at about 5.30pm. We are now sitting in our hotel room where Steve is reading and Nicole and I are writing blogs ready to upload! We have never arrived at our hotels so early so we are in a bit of a 'Don't know what to do with ourselves' state!
Off to find dinner soon then plan our long trek for tomorrow around the area of Windermere Lake – Looking forward to that instead of all this crappy food eating!
Love to all
